Hi my name is Tim Nealey. This **1946 L4 Grasshopper** went to the **South Pacific** with the **5th Air Force 71st Reconnaissance**. This is the military version of the Piper cub. This L4 has been updated to a **Continental c85-12f** engine with a **Sensenich** cruise propeller. This gives this old girl a little pep in her step. The -12f denotes a charging system.
I have been around aviation my whole life. My father was a world renowned aerobatic pilot, headlining at Oshkosh and the Chicago Lake Front air shows, plus many other shows for over 20 years. My mother is a World Air Race record holder, after competing in 2 around the world air races.
It is such an honor to own this L4.
This is a bucket list aircraft in the aviation world.
I want to help out and share the experience and fun of flight. I would like to invite you on this adventure as I will be traveling around in the L4 to many shows, fly ins, and airports. With a little gentlemen aerobatics thrown in.
I am also a 3d graphic artist / Game Dev
I have 2 flying games I’ve created that are available on the Microsoft and also Google Play stores.
